The Dashboard is the first page you see after logging into Orbit. It is designed to give you a quick summary of your store’s performance, recent activity, and latest platform updates.

What you can see on the Dashboard

  1. Performance summary cards

At the top of the page, you can view snapshot metrics such as:

  • Sessions

  • Total sales

  • Orders

  • Conversion rate

These cards help you quickly understand how your store is performing within the selected date range.

Date range filter

You can change the reporting period using the date selector, such as Last 30 days. This is useful if you want to review performance over different time periods and spot trends more easily.

Online visitor indicator

The dashboard also shows how many visitors are currently online. This can help you monitor live activity in your store and understand whether customers are actively browsing.

  1. Recent orders

The Recent orders section gives you a quick view of the latest orders placed in your store. This allows you to keep track of new activity without needing to open the full Orders page straight away.

  1. What’s New

The What’s New section highlights recent platform updates, such as:

  • New features

  • Improvements

  • Fixes

This helps you stay informed about changes in Orbit and discover new functionality that may benefit your business.

  1. Navigation menu

On the left-hand side, the dashboard sits alongside the main navigation menu, which gives access to other important areas of your store, such as Orders, Products and Customers etc. This makes the dashboard a useful starting point before moving into more detailed store management tasks.

  1. Search bar

At the top of the page, there is also a search bar that can help you find areas of the platform more quickly.

Why the Dashboard is useful

It brings together the most important store information in one place. You can also

  • Monitor performance quickly without running detailed reports

  • Track recent sales activity from the moment they log in

  • Review order status at a glance

  • Spot changes in conversion or sales trends

  • Stay updated with new platform features and improvements

  • Save time by using the dashboard as a central starting point for daily store management

For busy store owners and teams, this makes the dashboard a practical way to check the activity of the store in seconds.
