Troubleshooting | Order & Notification Emails Not Arriving

Customers not getting order confirmations, or you not getting order alerts? Diagnose deliverability in a few checks.

Split the problem in half first: is it customers missing emails (order confirmations, shipping updates), or you/your team missing notifications (new-order alerts)?

Customers not receiving emails

  1. Check the email address on the order — a typo'd address at checkout is the single most common cause. Fix it and resend the invoice/confirmation from the order.

  2. Ask them to check spam/junk — first-order emails to a new customer are prime spam-folder candidates, especially to strict providers.

  3. Check the email actually sent — the order's activity timeline records email events. If it shows sent, the mail left us fine and the issue is deliverability, not generation.

You or your team not receiving notifications

  1. Settings → Notifications — confirm the notification type is enabled for the right people (email and SMS preferences are separate).

  2. Check the address the alerts go to — team members have their own notification settings; the owner's email is not automatically everyone's.

  3. Spam again — yes, even to you. Whitelist the sender domain.

If many emails to many people are failing

That pattern points at sender reputation or DNS, not individual inboxes — see Troubleshooting | Email Deliverability (SPF/DKIM) for the domain-level fix. And if everything shows sent and arrives nowhere, contact support with an example order number and timestamp — that pair makes the deliverability trace fast.
