The Brands section in Orbit allows you to create and manage the brands linked to the products in your store.

Brands help group products by manufacturer, supplier, product range, or business identity. Once a brand is created and assigned to products, customers can browse products from that brand on the storefront.

In Orbit, you can access Brands by going to:

Products → Brands

Viewing brands

The Brands page shows a list of the brands currently created in your store.

From this page, you can view key information such as:

  • Name — The brand name and URL handle

  • Description — The brand description, if one has been added

  • Status — Shows whether the brand is active

  • Image — Displays the brand image/logo if one has been uploaded

You can also use the search bar to quickly find a specific brand.

  2. Select Brands.

  3. Click Create brand.

  4. Enter the brand details.

  • URL and handle — The URL path used for the brand page

Orbit also shows a preview of the search engine listing, so you can see how the brand may appear before saving.

On the storefront, customers can see products assigned to that brand. They can also use filters and sorting options to browse the available products more easily.

Why Brands are important

Brands make it easier to organise your catalogue and improve the customer shopping experience. They allow customers to browse products by brand, while also giving you better control over how brand pages appear on your storefront and in search engines.
