The Bulk Editor in Orbit allows you to update many products at once in a single spreadsheet-style grid, instead of opening each product one at a time. It is the quickest way to make the same change across your catalogue, such as adjusting prices, updating stock, or setting brands.

From here you can edit a whole column in one step, use the AI assist to help fill a column, choose which columns are visible, search for the products you want, and save all your changes together.

Opening the Bulk Editor

To open the Bulk Editor:

• From the left-hand menu, go to Products.

• Select Bulk Edit.

The Bulk Editor page will open, showing your products in a grid ready for editing.

The editing grid

The Bulk Editor lays your products out as rows in a spreadsheet-style grid, with a column for each detail you can change. The columns available are:

• Status — whether each product is active or in another state.

• Price — the amount the customer pays.

• Compare at — the original or recommended price shown alongside the selling price.

• Cost — what the product costs you, used to work out profit.

• SKU — the stock keeping unit code for each product.

• Barcode — the barcode assigned to each product.

• Qty — the quantity in stock.

• Weight — the product weight, used for shipping.

• Brand — the brand assigned to each product.

• Custom type — a custom product type label.

You can edit any cell directly in the grid, and use Expand all and Collapse all to open or close grouped rows, such as a product and its variants.

Editing a whole column at once

Each column has its own Edit button in the column header. Use it to apply the same change to that field across every product in the grid in a single step — for example, setting a price or updating stock — rather than typing into each cell one by one.

Using the AI assist

Several columns also have an AI button beside the Edit button. The AI assist helps you fill or improve the values in that column, which is useful when you want suggestions across many products at once. Always review what it produces before saving.

Choosing which columns are shown

Click Columns to choose which columns are visible in the grid. Showing only the columns you are working with keeps the grid focused and easier to read, especially when you are making one type of change across many products.

Searching and filtering products

Use the Search field at the top to find products by name or SKU, so you can narrow the grid down to just the products you want to change. The product count shown next to the page title updates to reflect what is currently in view.

Saving your changes

When you have finished, select Save Changes to apply your edits to all the affected products at once. Your changes are not applied until you save, so you can review the grid before committing to them.
