Subscriptions | The Customer Portal
Subscribers manage their own subscriptions from their storefront account — pause, resume, switch plans and update payment details without emailing you.
Every subscriber gets self-service from their storefront account — the difference between a subscription business and a support-ticket business.
What subscribers can do themselves
Pause and resume — the holiday saver that prevents the cancellation.
Change plan — move between your published intervals (monthly to quarterly and back).
Update payment details — a new card, before a failed charge ever happens.
Cancel — cleanly, with the lifecycle handled properly (see Subscriptions | Cancelling a Subscription).
Your side of the counter
Everything they do appears on Subscriptions in your dashboard: the subscriber, their plan, status, next charge. When a customer does email, open their subscription and act on it directly — pause, change, cancel on their behalf.

Tips
Point support replies at the portal (“you can pause it yourself here…”) — every deflection compounds.
Pause is the retention feature: customers who pause come back; customers who cancel mostly do not.
