Getting Started | Creating Your Account

Creating your Orbit Commerce account takes a few minutes and starts your free trial — no credit card required. By the end you have both your account and your first store.

Step 1: Your email

Go to the sign-up page and enter your email address, then select Continue. Use an address you monitor — order notifications and payout confirmations go here. Already registered? The Sign in link takes you to the login page, where you can also reset a forgotten password.

Step 2: Your details

Enter your first and last name and choose a password. Pick something strong — this account controls your money and your customers' data. You can add two-factor authentication and passkeys after signup under Settings → Security.

Step 3: Store information

Name your store and describe what you sell. The store name appears on your storefront, emails and invoices — you can change it later under Settings → Store Settings. Already have an Orbit account? You can sign in and add the new store to it instead of creating another login.

Step 4: Store location

Tell Orbit where the business operates: phone number, address, country, state/county and city, plus your timezone and currency. Two things to choose carefully:

• Currency — product prices are entered in this currency and it cannot be changed after store creation.

• Timezone — drives order timestamps, analytics and scheduled sales.

Step 5: Confirm

The final screen — “Almost there!” — summarises everything for review. Add a promo code or referral code if you have one, agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and choose whether to receive marketing emails. Create the account and you land in your new dashboard, where the onboarding wizard offers to walk you through payments, shipping and tax.

What happens next

• Verify your email when the message arrives — the banner at the top of the dashboard reminds you until you do.
