Plugins | Amazon Integration

Sync products to Amazon, keep stock levels honest both ways, and import Amazon orders into your dashboard.

The Amazon Integration plugin connects your store to your Amazon Seller Central account: list products on Amazon, synchronise stock levels so you never oversell, and pull Amazon orders into your Orbit dashboard alongside your storefront ones.

Setup

  1. You need an Amazon Professional seller account (the individual tier doesn't allow API connections).

  2. Install the plugin from Plugins, open it, and choose Connect Amazon.

  3. Approve the connection on Amazon's authorisation page (OAuth — no credentials are typed into Orbit). You're returned to the dashboard connected.

  4. Choose what to sync: which products list to Amazon, and whether orders import.

How the sync behaves

  • Products out — listings push to Amazon with titles, images, prices and your taxonomy mapped to Amazon categories.

  • Stock both ways — a sale on either channel updates availability on the other. This is the anti-oversell machine; keep it on.

  • Orders in — Amazon orders arrive in your Orders list, tagged by channel, so fulfilment runs in one place.

Tips

  • Get barcodes (GTINs) on products before connecting — Amazon requires them for most categories (see Products | SKUs & Barcodes).

  • Start with ten products and watch a full order round-trip before syncing the whole catalogue.

  • Amazon's price and delivery metrics are unforgiving — only sync stock you can actually fulfil at your stated handling time.
