The Account Icon element adds a customer account icon to your page. Use it in your header so shoppers can log in, and once signed in, reach their orders, addresses, and settings from a dropdown menu. It gives returning customers a familiar way to manage their account.

Adding an Account Icon

To add an Account Icon to your page:

• In the toolbox on the far left, click Elements.

• Open the Ecommerce group and find Account Icon, or search for it.

• Drag it onto the canvas and drop it where you want it.

Content settings

Select the Account Icon and open the Content tab in the settings panel to edit:

• Icon — the account icon shown, which you can change to suit your design.

• Show label — a toggle for a text label next to the icon.

• Login text — the wording shown to customers who are not signed in, such as Login.

• Account text — the wording shown to signed-in customers, such as My Account.

• Show dropdown — a toggle that lets signed-in customers open a menu from the icon.

• Dropdown labels — the wording for the Orders, Addresses, Settings, and Logout links in that menu.

Design settings

Open the Design tab to style the Account Icon, including the icon size, colour, spacing, and alignment, so it matches the rest of your header. For a full explanation of the Design and Advanced tabs, see the Element Settings guide.

Why this is useful

An account icon gives customers a clear way to sign in and manage their orders, which encourages repeat purchases and makes your store feel familiar and trustworthy.
