Stock changes at warehouse speed, not keyboard speed. The CSV round-trip — export, edit in a spreadsheet, import — is how bulk inventory work gets done. Available on the Enterprise plan.
The pattern
Export the inventory CSV from the inventory area: one row per item per location, with quantities and bin columns.
Edit in your spreadsheet — new quantities after a count, bin assignments, corrections.
Import the same file back. Rows apply to their items and locations; the report tells you what changed and what failed.
The two big use cases
Bin assignment at scale — the Bin name column round-trips: export, fill in the warehouse's bin map, import. Hundreds of items binned in minutes (the picking setup needs this — see Inventory | Picking & Cycle Counts).
Count true-up — after a full stocktake, apply the corrected quantities in one import rather than item-by-item edits.
Tips
Never hand-retype the file's identifier columns — edit only the quantity/bin columns and leave keys intact.
