Storefront & Themes | Installing & Purchasing Themes

Themes control your storefront's design. Storefront → Themes is your library: the active theme on top, every installed theme below it, and your storefront's real speed scores in between.

Finding themes

Browse Marketplace (or Browse Store) opens the Theme Store, where you can preview themes on a demo storefront and read what's included. Free themes install straight away; paid themes show their price and licence up front, and the purchase completes with your account's payment method before the theme lands in your library.

Activating a theme

Installing adds a theme to your library without changing your live store — nothing changes for customers until you activate:

1. Select Activate on the theme.

2. Review what will happen: the current theme is deactivated (kept installed), new pages are created from the theme's templates, theme settings reset to the new theme's defaults, and the storefront changes immediately on activation.

3. Select Activate Theme to confirm. You can always switch back — your previous theme stays installed, and overwritten pages keep revisions you can roll back.

Handling page conflicts

If the theme's templates clash with pages your store already has (a Homepage, say), you choose per conflict:

• Overwrite existing page — replace it with the theme's version. Revisions are saved, so rollback is one click.

• Create new page — keep yours and add the theme's version alongside with a unique name.

• Skip this page — keep your page unchanged.

After activation, use Customize on the active theme to open it in the page builder, and View Live to see the result as customers do.

Tips

• Install and preview before activating — the library holds as many dormant themes as you like.

• Watch the Page Speed scores after switching: a heavier theme shows up there within days.

• Re-run your checkout after a theme change — a quick test order catches template surprises.
