Orbit CRM brings your sales pipeline into the dashboard: a drag-and-drop deals board, tasks with due dates, and a unified timeline for every customer — their orders, chats, tickets and your notes in one stream. Install it from the Plugins page to get a ready-made Sales Pipeline you can customise any time.

The Overview tab

The CRM opens on Overview — your numbers for the period at a glance:

  1. Overview — open pipeline value, weighted forecast, deals won, win rate, average deal size and days to close, plus a deals-created chart and the pipeline funnel.

  2. Deals — the pipeline board.

  3. Tasks — everything due, across every deal.

  4. Automations — rules that create deals and tasks for you (see Orbit CRM: Automations).

The Today row surfaces what needs attention right now: tasks due or overdue, and deals closing soon.

The pipeline board

Deals live on a kanban board — one column per stage of your Sales Pipeline, with the total value at the top of each column. Drag a card between columns to move the deal to a new stage; the forecast updates automatically using each stage's win probability.

Creating a deal

  1. Select New deal at the top of the board.

  1. Fill in what you know: a title, the deal value and currency, the pipeline and starting stage, the customer, an owner, the expected close date and a source.

  2. Select Create deal. The card appears on the board immediately.

Working a deal

Open any card for the full picture:

  • Details — pipeline, stage, primary customer, expected close and source. Use Edit or the stage selector at the top to update them.

  • Activity composer — log a Note, Task, Call, Email or Meeting against the deal, with a due date where it matters.

  • Deal activity and Customer timeline — everything that has happened on this deal, and everything across the customer's whole relationship with your store.

  • Contacts — link additional customer contacts to the deal.

Tasks

The Tasks tab collects every open task with its due date — overdue items are highlighted so nothing slips. Tick a task to complete it, or jump straight to the related deal or customer.

Settings

Open Settings to manage your pipelines: rename stages, change their win probabilities and order, add new stages, or create additional pipelines — for example a separate Wholesale pipeline.

Tips

  • Set realistic win percentages on each stage — they drive the weighted forecast on the Overview tab.

  • Create a task every time you touch a deal; the Today row on Overview becomes your morning to-do list.

  • Deals link to real customer records, so the Customer timeline always shows the full story before you reply.
