Payments & Payouts | Transactions & Payouts
Follow the money: every customer payment in Transactions, and every transfer to your bank in Payouts — with your payout schedule and history.
The Payments section answers the two questions that matter day to day: did this customer pay? and when does the money reach my bank? Both pages require Orbit Payments to be connected — until then they point you at Payment Settings (see Setting Up Orbit Payments).
Transactions

Payments → Transactions is your customer payment history: every charge, with its status and details. Use it to confirm a payment before fulfilling an order, check a card brand or last four digits when a customer asks, and trace a payment to its order. Selecting a transaction opens the full detail view.
Payouts

Payments → Payouts shows your payout schedule and your transfer history — each transfer to your bank with its amount, status and arrival date. Card processing fees are deducted before payout, so a payout is always less than the gross of its transactions; that is expected.
Reconciling
Match a payout to its transactions by comparing the payout period with the transaction dates — the payout detail lists what it contains.
Refunds reduce a later payout rather than recalling an earlier one, so a quiet week after a refund can show a smaller or negative transfer.
Tips
If a payout seems late, check its status first — bank holidays push arrivals, and a failed verification on your account pauses payouts until resolved.
Your first payout after connecting takes a little longer while the account finishes verification; later payouts follow the normal schedule.
