Adding the Powered by Orbit credit

The Powered By Orbit element adds the line "Powered by Orbit Commerce" to a page. The words "Orbit Commerce" are a link to the Orbit website, and the link opens in a new tab. Most stores put the credit at the bottom of the footer.

Considerations

• The wording and the link are fixed. You can change where the credit sits, how the text looks and the space around it, but not the words.
• The link does not open while you are in the page builder.
• Add the element to a footer template to show the credit on every page of your store.

Add the element

1. Open the page in the page builder.
2. In the toolbox on the far left, click Elements.
3. Find Powered By Orbit in the Basic group, or search for it.
4. Drag it onto the canvas and drop it where you want it. The settings panel opens on Editing Powered By Orbit.

Place the credit

1. With the element selected, open the Content tab.
2. Under Content, set Alignment to Left, Center or Right. The credit is centred by default.
3. Open the Design tab and set the text style and spacing so the credit matches the rest of your footer.
4. Save the page. On a footer template, publish it and set it as primary so shoppers see the change.

Content settings

• Alignment: where the credit sits in its row. Left, Center or Right.

Design settings

Open the Design tab to change the look. The groups are Typography, which sets the font, size, weight and colour of the Label, and Spacing for the margin and padding around the credit. The text follows your store's small text style unless you switch it to a custom style.
