B2B | Invoices

Net-terms invoices are your accounts receivable — orders placed by companies on payment terms and paid later. Track, chase and record payments here. Requires the Enterprise plan.

When a company buys on payment terms (net 30, for example), the order creates a net-terms invoice instead of taking payment at checkout. The Invoices page — Customers → Invoices — is your accounts receivable: what is owed, by whom, and by when. B2B features require the Enterprise plan.

Reading the list

  • Every invoice shows its number, issued and due dates, amount and status: Open, Paid or Overdue.

  • Filter by status to build your chase list — Overdue is the view that earns its keep.

Working an invoice

  • Record payment — mark the invoice paid when the bank transfer (or other agreed method) arrives. This keeps the company's balance honest.

  • Void — cancel an invoice issued in error. Voiding keeps the record but strikes the amount owed.

Tips

  • Check the Overdue filter weekly — cash flow problems hide there first.

  • Record payments the day they land; the due-date maths is only as useful as your bookkeeping.

  • Payment terms themselves are agreed per company — see B2B | Companies for the account setup.
