Analytics | Live View

The Live View page in Orbit gives you a real-time overview of activity taking place on your online store. It helps you monitor current visitors, live sales activity, active carts, recent purchases, and where visitors are browsing from.

This is especially useful when you want to understand what is happening on your store at that exact moment.

Accessing Live View

To access Live View:

1. From the left-hand menu, go to Analytics.

2. Select Live View.

You will then be taken to the real-time activity dashboard for your store.

Live View Overview

At the top of the page, Orbit displays key live metrics for your store.

These include:

• Active Visitors
  Shows how many visitors are currently active on your store.

• Today’s Sales
  Shows the total sales value generated today.

• Today’s Orders
  Shows the number of orders placed today.

• Conversion Rate
  Shows the percentage of visitors who have converted into customers.

Each of these cards is marked as Live, meaning the information is designed to reflect current activity.

Additional Live Metrics

Below the main cards, you can also see additional real-time store metrics:

• Average Session Time
  Shows the average amount of time visitors are spending on your store.

• Cart Abandonment
  Shows the percentage of carts that have been abandoned.

• Recent Purchases
  Shows the number of recent purchases recorded.

• Active Carts
  Shows how many carts are currently active.

Live Location Map

The Live View page includes an interactive globe showing visitor activity by location.

You can:

• Drag the globe to rotate it.

• Scroll on the globe to zoom in or out.

• View the number of active locations.

Top Countries and Active Pages

Below the map, Orbit displays two useful sections:

1. Top Countries

The Top Countries section shows the countries where your visitors are currently browsing from.

2. Active Pages

The Active Pages section shows which pages visitors are currently viewing on your store.

Live Activity Feed

The Live Activity feed shows real-time browsing and shopping events from your store.

Activities may include:

• Visitors browsing the store

• Cart activity

• Purchases

• Page views

Each activity entry can show details such as the visitor’s location, activity type, and when the activity happened.

You can filter the feed using the available tabs:

• All Activity

• Purchases

• Cart

• Views

Refreshing or Pausing Live View

At the top-right of the Live View page, you can use the available controls to manage the live feed.

You can:

• Pause the live updates if you want to review the current information without changes appearing.

• Refresh the page or activity data to update the view.

Why Live View Is Important

Live View helps you understand what is happening on your store in real time.

It is useful for:

• Monitoring traffic during campaigns or promotions.

• Checking whether visitors are actively browsing your store.

• Seeing if carts or purchases are being created.

• Understanding which pages visitors are viewing.

• Identifying where your live visitors are located.

• Spotting sudden changes in traffic or activity.
