The Campaigns area in Orbit allows you to group marketing activity around a specific promotion, event, sale, or seasonal campaign. Campaigns help you track performance by linking discount codes, monitoring revenue, reviewing order volume, and managing the campaign schedule from one place.

You can use campaigns to understand how successful a promotion has been and keep your marketing activity organised.

Where to find Campaigns

To access Campaigns:

  1. From the left-hand menu, go to Marketing.

  2. Select Campaigns.

Campaigns overview

The Campaigns page shows a list of your existing campaigns.

Each campaign row includes:

  • Campaign — The campaign name.

  • Status — The current campaign status, such as Draft.

  • Discounts — The number of discount codes linked to the campaign.

  • Revenue — The revenue generated through the campaign.

  • Orders — The number of orders linked to the campaign.

  • Start date — The date the campaign begins.

  • End date — The date the campaign ends.

You can also use the search bar to quickly find a campaign by name.

Creating a new campaign

To create a campaign:

  1. Go to Marketing > Campaigns.

  2. Click Create campaign.

  3. Complete the campaign details.

  4. Once the required fields are completed, click Create campaign.

The campaign setup is split into the following sections:

  1. General

The General section contains the main campaign details.

  • Name

Enter the campaign name.

  • Description

Add a short description of the campaign.

This can be used to explain the purpose of the campaign, the offer being promoted, or any internal notes for your team.

  • Status

Select the campaign status.

For example, a campaign can be saved as Draft while it is still being prepared.

  1. Schedule

The Schedule section controls when the campaign starts and ends.

You can set:

  • Start date — The date and time the campaign begins.

  • End date — The date and time the campaign ends.

This is useful for seasonal promotions, limited-time offers, or planned marketing campaigns.

  1. Budget

The Budget section allows you to enter the planned budget for the campaign.

This helps you record the expected campaign spend and compare it against performance later.

  1. Discount codes

The Discount codes section allows you to link existing discount codes to the campaign.

To add a discount code:

  1. Go to the Discount codes section.

  2. Search for an existing discount code.

  3. Select the discount code you want to link.

  4. Once linked, Orbit can use the discount code to help track campaign revenue and order performance.

If no discount codes have been added yet, the section will show that no discount codes are currently linked.

Editing a campaign

To edit an existing campaign:

  1. Go to Marketing > Campaigns.

  2. Select the campaign you want to edit.

When viewing an existing campaign, Orbit also displays performance summary cards, including:

  • Revenue — Total revenue linked to the campaign.

  • Orders — Number of orders linked to the campaign.

  • Average order value — Average value of orders generated through the campaign.

These figures help you quickly understand how the campaign is performing.

Deleting campaigns

Campaigns can be deleted from the Campaigns list.

To delete campaigns:

  1. Go to Marketing > Campaigns.

  2. Tick the checkbox next to the campaign or campaigns you want to remove.

  3. Click Delete.

Filtering and searching campaigns

You can use the available tools on the Campaigns page to manage larger campaign lists.

  1. Search

Use the search box to find campaigns by name.

  1. Filters

Click Add Filter to narrow down the campaign list using available filter options.

Why Campaigns are important

Campaigns help you connect your marketing activity with actual sales performance.

By linking discount codes and tracking revenue, orders, and average order value, you can see which promotions are working and which ones may need improvement.

They are especially useful for:

  • Seasonal sales

  • Product launches

  • Discount promotions

  • Email marketing campaigns

  • Social media promotions

  • Limited-time offers

  • Customer retention campaigns

Instead of only creating discount codes separately, campaigns give you a central place to organise the promotion and measure its results.
